Vanessa is a local of the Applecross Village, she lives 2 minutes away and works from a home office but hires out our space for her regular professional workshops and mentor programs, and also to record her business videos.
In her video, Vanessa shares with us some of the elements which she thinks are a must when it comes to deciding on a casual and professional office space for hire.

Our founder and owner, Fabrizio Bruno, created Workshop 38 from a desire to help local businesses have a casual space for hire to conduct their work without having the risk of a long term lease.
That philosophy is still strong at Workshop 38 today because our workspace offers flexible, affordable, casual hire, 7 days of the week!
Flexible and adaptable
We recently blogged about how our 30sqm of space has been used for professional meetings one day and then becomes a showcase venue for newlyweds the next!
Vanessa herself uses our workspace for regular monthly meetings and workshops with her clients and on other days as an office and recording studio where she films her business videos.
Easy to book and access
We’ve put a lot of thought into making sure that you can inquire, book, arrive and use our workspace easily and sometimes at the click of a button!
You can request a booking at a time and date that suits you using our online Booking Request form. Then an email will be sent to confirm your booking or Fabrizio will get in touch in the best way to discuss your booking.
A day before your booking, a text message and email will be sent with a four-digit code to access the secure workspace via a digital keypad entry.

Set it up the way you want
Part of the Workshop 38 service is communications from our very own founder and owner Fabrizio to ask how you would like your room set up – theatre, seminar, classroom, workshop, meeting or customised to suit your needs.
Then, all you need to do is show up on the day and do your thing!
Quality equipment and furniture
Did you know that all furniture and equipment you need for your event or meeting is included in your booking?
There’s a ceiling-mounted projector, a 55” TV screen, whiteboard, lectern, kitchenette with bar fridge, kettle & Nespresso machine, filtered water and lots of storage in the floor to ceiling cupboards available at our workspace.
Location, location, location
Like Vanessa said in her video, there’s everything you need at our workspace! Outside our doorstep are award winning cafes and restaurants to grab a delicious coffee, treat or meal before, during or after your event.
There’s a gourmet grocery store across the road, a post office, a pharmacy and boutique retail shops – all within less than a minute walking distance in every direction!
